Lomond Peated Grainstorm

This is peat just not the way you expect it. Grainstorm is made from 100% heavily peated malted barley, but instead of being distilled like a traditional single malt, Loch Lomond runs it through a Coffey (column) still. That one decision changes everything. The smoke softens, the texture lightens, and what you get is a whisky thats smoky, sweet, and surprisingly easy-going.

Its peat without the punch-in-the-throat. More drift than bonfire. Vanilla, green apple and citrus lead, with gentle smoke sitting quietly in the background. A great entry point for peat-curious drinkers and an interesting curveball for seasoned whisky fans.
